IT Support Specialist - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our global IT team in a remote capacity. This IT Support Specialist role will be integral to our operations, providing high-quality support to our employees across various time zones. As an IT Support Specialist, you will ensure that our team members have the necessary tools and support to thrive in their roles, contributing to a well-architected and scalable cloud environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for employees, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance with MDM enrollment requirements.
  • Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and management of company laptops, focusing on Mac systems while also being familiar with Windows.
  • Provide troubleshooting and end-user support for tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
  • Coordinate repairs and replacements of hardware, including logistics and interim solutions.
  • Partner with the InfoSec team to support audits and ensure endpoint security compliance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes and workflows in Confluence and Jira.
  • Track and report on ticket volume, resolution times, and support trends to improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration.
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration and MDM solutions.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Jira/Confluence administration.
  • Strong understanding of device management, MDM solutions, and endpoint security, particularly with Mac support.
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a patient, helpful demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of problem-solving under minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a remote-first or globally distributed technology company.
  • Familiarity with identity providers, SSO, and SaaS application provisioning.
