IT Engineer – Enterprise Technology (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology team in a remote capacity. As an IT Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly while working on projects related to IAM, SaaS integrations, and MDM. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values your expertise and contributions.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Google Workspace, Okta, and other SaaS platforms.
  • Troubleshoot MDM configurations and device management problems.
  • Provide day-to-day user support, including troubleshooting printers, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage the IT hardware lifecycle, including ordering equipment, inventory management, and device setup.
  • Handle problems that require an understanding of system interdependencies.
  • Design solutions that prevent issues without creating new problems.
  • Evaluate and understand the security implications of your decisions across the organization.
  • Autonomously identify and implement automation for common problems.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and create technical documentation that captures your knowledge.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting technical teams.
  • Strong grasp of DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Background in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation and tool creation.
  • Experience supporting teams working with sensitive or classified data.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and ISO 27001.
  • Deep understanding of IAM including SAML, SCIM, and OIDC.
  • Experience configuring and supporting development environments.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across macOS and/or Linux environments.
  • Familiarity managing configurations in git (Terraform).
  • Expert knowledge of MDM platforms, device enrollment, configuration profiles, and security policies.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Who Will Succeed Here
