About the Role

Join John Deere as an Intern Mechanical Design Engineer and contribute to innovative agricultural solutions. This remote opportunity allows you to work with a global leader in agricultural machinery, where you'll help develop new products and improve existing ones.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with your team to develop new solutions for front loader products.
• Formalize specifications and conduct competitive studies to inform design decisions.
• Research technical solutions that align with project requirements.
• Model designs using CREO software to create prototypes.
• Engage with welding, sheet metal, and assembly experts to finalize design choices.
• Oversee prototypes and validate them in field tests and laboratories.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a mechanical engineering degree (BAC+4 or BAC+5).
• Strong interest in practical applications and fieldwork.
• Creative and curious mindset, with a passion for teamwork.
• Proficient in English, with good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of agricultural machinery is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CAD software, particularly CREO.
• Familiarity with agricultural engineering principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team setting.
