Information Security Manager - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As an Information Security Manager remote position, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems, data, and services. What You'll Do

• Lead the development and maintenance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and GDPR regulations.
• Manage security performance of suppliers and internal resources.
• Oversee the secure integration of newly acquired businesses into existing technology and governance frameworks.
• Bridge governance, risk, and compliance with practical technical controls across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and operational excellence.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and awareness programs to staff on information security best practices.

Requirements

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent (CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer).
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and security operations within AWS and Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of information security governance and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with risk management and incident response.
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies.
