Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to join our global Technology and Architecture organization. This remote position focuses on designing, building, and operating secure and scalable hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and on-premises VMware environments. As a Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our core infrastructure platforms remain resilient, secure, and optimized while supporting global technology operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure and on-premises datacenters.
• Implement Azure services including virtual machines, networking, storage, and backup solutions.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform.
• Architect, deploy, and optimize VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi).
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure services, automating provisioning using PowerShell, Python, ARM templates, or Terraform.
• Implement and support backup solutions such as Veeam and Azure Backup.
• Monitor infrastructure and network performance metrics including latency and packet loss.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering hybrid infrastructure projects across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) and Microsoft Azure infrastructure services.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform or ARM templates).
• Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam preferred).
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across infrastructure stacks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Nice to Have

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (Administrator or Solutions Architect).
• ITIL Foundation, TOGAF, or similar certifications.
