Human Resources Business Partner - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Human Resources Business Partner to join our team remotely. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will lead various human resource projects and provide strategic advice on human capital management to our HR Services clients. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere within the contiguous United States, offering flexibility while making a significant impact on our organization.
What You'll Do
- Consult with clients regarding salary and compensation, ensuring competitive and fair practices.
- Engage in strategic HR discussions with the Executive Team to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Proactively consult on compliance, efficiency, and performance to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and coordinate the Performance Review Process, collaborating with managers to ensure timely evaluations.
- Provide management training on various topics, including anti-discrimination, performance management, and compliance.
- Review and update job descriptions as needed, ensuring they accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities.
- Lead regular communication calls with clients to discuss ongoing projects and employee relations.
- Manage compliance with Leave of Absence laws, including FMLA and Workers Compensation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience required, with a strong background in HR practices.
- Experience using HRIS systems to streamline HR processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Adaptability to changing situations and priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Nice to Have
- Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certification is a plus.
- Experience in the insurance industry or related fields.
- Knowledge of current HR trends and best practices.
