Onsite/​VIP Engineer - Hybrid Role at Capgemini

About the Role

We are looking for an Onsite/VIP Engineer to join our team at Capgemini. In this hybrid role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering the highest level of customer service and engagement. As an Onsite/VIP Engineer remote, you will be pre-emptively investigating and resolving incidents while ensuring smooth communication with clients.

What You'll Do

• Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and engagement.
• Liaise continuously with customers to resolve queries onsite and ensure efficient service.
• Provide guidance on user best practices and create knowledge base articles (KBAs).
• Resolve incidents and service requests to SLA using tools such as ServiceNow and Intune.
• Manage IT hardware accurately using a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Active Directory (AD).

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and technical teams.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS (10 and 11) and Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
• Understanding of IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, and mobile technologies.
