What You'll Do
- Lead the development and implementation of compliance programs that align with CMS Conditions of Participation and The Joint Commission standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop work plans to ensure adherence to HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.
- Oversee investigations, incident responses, and breach notifications to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to promote ethical decision-making and operational excellence across the hospital network.
- Serve as a trusted advisor during regulatory surveys and corrective action planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Director of Compliance in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, OIG guidance, and state compliance laws.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
- Experience in risk management and internal auditing processes.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in healthcare administration or related field.
- Certification in healthcare compliance (e.g., CHC, CCEP).
- Experience with AI-enabled auditing tools and modern EHR systems.
