Helicopter Weaponization Engineer - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Helicopter Weaponization Engineer to join our team at IronMountain Solutions. This Helicopter Weaponization Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on the Utility Helicopters Project Office (UHPO) International Programs Office (IPO) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) helicopter weaponization programs. You will play a crucial role in managing and executing technical helicopter weaponization development, integration, verification, production, modification, fielding, and sustainment programs.

What You'll Do

• Lead the management and execution of helicopter weaponization programs, ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
• Develop and prepare program acquisition strategies, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
• Assess foreign-partner unique helicopter weaponization product performance and verification requirements.
• Collaborate with Material Developers and monitor contractor performance to ensure contract requirements are met.
• Support major program technical reviews and ensure aircraft products are verified and meet airworthiness requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10-20 years of relevant work experience in helicopter weaponization.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering accredited by ABET.
• Working knowledge of DoD, DA, PEO-Aviation, and UHPO acquisition processes.
• Experience with UH-60A/L/M helicopter weaponization systems and their integration aspects.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
