Head of APAC - Remote Position at Paxos

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of APAC remote to lead our business efforts in Singapore and across the Asia Pacific region. This role is crucial as we aim to reshape the financial infrastructure through blockchain technology, ensuring that we can provide innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and partners.

What You'll Do

• Lead local Paxos employees in Singapore, serving as an escalation point and providing strategic guidance to ensure the successful execution of operations and projects.
• Develop and drive the regional strategy throughout APAC, ensuring alignment with Paxos' overall mission.
• Execute effective marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and market penetration of Paxos’s product lines.
• Drive business development initiatives, identify partnership opportunities, and establish a strong presence for Paxos in the Singaporean and broader Asian financial ecosystem.
• Develop and manage executive-level relationships with regional partners and vendors, including banks, financial institutions, and technology organizations.
• Partner with our Product and Engineering organization to develop and introduce innovative solutions to address regional customer demands, aiding in the transition of the region's financial infrastructure towards a regulated blockchain system.
• Stay abreast of developments in the financial and regulatory landscape, providing insights and recommendations to the global leadership team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, growth, technology, and operations, to ensure seamless implementation of business plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven track record of leadership in a senior role within fintech or digital asset technology companies.
• Experience engaging local and regional regulators across Singapore and throughout APAC with a good understanding of local regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong board-level engagement and strategic decision-making experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, execute marketing strategies, and lead cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.

Nice to Have

• Experience in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency regulation.
• Strong network within the APAC financial ecosystem.
• Familiarity with digital asset market trends and consumer behavior.
