About the Role

We're hiring a Head of AI / AI Architect to lead our innovative AI initiatives in a rapidly scaling business. This is a unique opportunity to build the AI function from the ground up, influencing critical business decisions while working in a hybrid environment. As the Head of AI, you will be at the forefront of practical, responsible AI that delivers real ROI across various departments including operations, HR, sales, and tech.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of AI capabilities from the ground up.
• Build AI frameworks and toolchains that engineers will use daily.
• Mentor and grow the initial AI/ML team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Deliver secure, scalable, responsible AI systems with human oversight.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate AI across the business effectively.
• Evaluate emerging AI techniques to maintain best-in-class practices.

Requirements

• Mid-career AI leader with hands-on experience building AI/ML systems and frameworks.
• Skilled in responsible AI, human-in-the-loop systems, governance, and scalable architectures.
• Able to translate strategy into practical execution.
• Comfortable in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
• A strong communicator and collaborator across technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a greenfield project environment.
• Familiarity with various AI tools and frameworks.
• Previous experience in mentoring and team building.
