Governance Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Governance Specialist to join our team remotely. As a Governance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the development of the National Transmission Network Development Plan, ensuring effective integration of renewable energy sources and supporting the decarbonization of the energy system.

What You'll Do

• Participate in technical tables to define priority interventions for the National Transmission Network.
• Engage in internal and external working groups to manage relevant processes.
• Ensure adequate oversight of institutional tables on key topics affecting the energy sector.
• Coordinate processes related to the drafting of the Development Plan, ensuring alignment with technical and economic planning needs.
• Develop reporting frameworks to monitor expenditures and assess the achievement of outputs in the Development and Security Plans.
• Conduct regulatory analysis to identify impacts on network development, focusing on renewables and electric mobility.
• Monitor renewable energy developments to proactively update planning timelines and economic interventions.

Requirements

• Degree in Management Engineering or Economics; other backgrounds considered with relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in governance or planning roles.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork capabilities.
• Experience with SAP S4 and Tagetik systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting energy systems.
