Global Payroll Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Insight Global is seeking a Global Payroll Manager for a market-leading organization operating payroll across 22 countries through a single Workday platform. This Global Payroll Manager remote position offers the opportunity to manage payroll operations with a significant focus on U.S. payroll, making it an exciting role for those passionate about payroll management.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary payroll and Workday SME, overseeing all internal payroll processes.
• Coordinate with outsourced payroll vendors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Validate payroll data, audit inputs and outputs, and ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and international regulations.
• Utilize Workday to troubleshoot variances and correct configuration issues across Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and HRIS.
• Oversee payroll controls, year-end processing, 401(k) funding, and audits.
• Design and maintain Workday PRISM dashboards and reports for payroll validation and compliance.
• Support Workday reconfiguration projects, coordinating testing and ensuring operational readiness.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Benefits, Finance, Tax/Compliance, and external vendors to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Strong U.S. payroll administration/management experience, including multi-jurisdictional tax compliance.
• Hands-on expertise with Workday Payroll, Benefits & Absence, and HRIS/HCM.
• Ability to identify and resolve configuration defects and work with third-party Workday partners.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers, including SLA management and vendor validation.
• 401(k) audit and funding experience.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Foundational level of international/global payroll experience.
• Ability to work effectively across HR, Finance, Benefits, Tax, IT, and international teams.

Nice to Have

• CPP or FPC certification.
• Experience supporting workers’ compensation audits and multi-country statutory reporting.
• Prior experience leading Workday optimization projects.
