Global Payroll Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Global Payroll Manager remote to join a leading global e-commerce and technology powerhouse. This is a high-impact, 6-month contract for a seasoned payroll expert to steer a sophisticated international operation during a period of strategic change.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor an international payroll team across multiple time zones to ensure 100% accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Oversee complex payroll cycles for large-scale employee populations across the US and EMEA regions.
• Act as the primary strategic point of contact for external Global Payroll Service Providers (aggregators).
• Ensure rigorous compliance with local tax laws, social security requirements, and evolving regional labor legislation.
• Drive process improvements and maintain data integrity within global HRIS and Payroll systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-country payrolls specifically across the UK, EMEA, and the United States.
• Deep functional knowledge of US tax (W-2, 1099) and diverse European statutory requirements.
• Strong leadership track record, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively across different geographies.
• Previous experience working within the technology or e-commerce sectors, managing fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a self-starter mindset capable of navigating complex organizational change.

Nice to Have

• Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Certification in payroll management or HR.
• Familiarity with international labor laws.
