About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance Senior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team at Placetel. As a Freelance Senior UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating seamless, user-centric digital experiences that enhance our communication solutions. What You'll Do

• Create and optimize UX/UI designs for various digital platforms, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
• Develop interactive prototypes to validate user flows and enhance usability.
• Improve existing experiences by focusing on usability and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with product owners, marketing, and development teams to align design with business goals.
• Support UX research and usability testing to gather insights for design improvements.
• Ensure a consistent brand-aligned digital experience across all platforms.
• Refine and extend design systems across digital touchpoints to maintain design integrity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design and innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe CC.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to facilitate design implementation.
• Analytical mindset with familiarity in data-driven design methodologies.
• Fluent in German and comfortable in English-speaking environments.
• Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote-first setup.

Nice to Have

• Experience with accessibility standards in design.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of user research techniques and tools.
