About the Role

We are seeking a Freelance Copywriter for Programming Newsletter - Remote to join our dynamic team at Electrify Video Partners. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-funded and fast-growing creator economy business. As a copywriter, you will write sponsored segments for two newsletter editions each week, digest technical software products, and communicate their benefits effectively to our readers.

What You'll Do

• Write engaging sponsored segments for our programming newsletter, ensuring content aligns with the newsletter's tone.
• Digest technical software products and clearly communicate their benefits to our audience.
• Craft effective CTAs that convert readers to sponsored products.
• Collaborate with sponsors to incorporate their revisions and feedback into the content.
• Utilize your experience in writing commercial copy, whether from an agency or in-house background.
• Infuse humor and satire into your copywriting to engage our readers effectively.
• Demonstrate a passion for the Creator Economy and the educational YouTube space.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience writing commercial copy, ideally in the creator economy or tech space.
• Ability to write with humor and satire, aligning with the newsletter’s tone.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated and organized, thriving both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with writing engaging ad copy for newsletters.
