Financial Planning & Analysis Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join Base.com as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in this exciting remote opportunity! As a key player in our financial team, you will transform financial data into strategic management information, driving the financial strategy of a global leader in e-commerce.

What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports for the Capital Group, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of data.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and create short- and long-term financial forecasts (Rolling Forecasts).
• Develop periodic reporting packages and ad-hoc analyses for PE/VC funds, ensuring alignment with investor requirements.
• Identify and analyze variances between actual results and budget; recommend optimization actions.
• Ensure full data consistency between accounting systems and management reports; oversee cost discipline in subsidiaries.
• Coordinate financial processes and documentation flow between foreign subsidiaries and the headquarters in Poland.
• Monitor and interpret key performance metrics (e.g., MRR, Churn, LTV, CAC) to support growth strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling or FP&A, preferably in an international technology company or capital group structures.
• Outstanding financial modeling skills and proficiency in MS Excel (Power Query, advanced formulas).
• Experience working as an independent expert (non-managerial role), with the ability to create and implement reporting standards.
• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; solid knowledge of management accounting and consolidation.
• Fluent English (minimum C1 level) for effective collaboration with international partners.
• Experience in companies within the PE/VC portfolio or in audit (Big4).

Nice to Have

• Experience with SaaS financial models.
• Knowledge of financial regulations in different countries.
• Certifications such as CFA or CPA.
