Financial Accountant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant remote to join our dynamic team at Robert Plumb Collective. As a key member of our finance team, you will support the financial operations of our group, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage statutory reporting obligations, including BAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax.
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and year-end reporting.
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide financial insights through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with cash flow management and financial reconciliations.

Requirements

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CA qualification (or working towards).
• Demonstrated experience in a financial accounting role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial software and systems.
• Knowledge of the construction industry.
• Previous experience in a remote working environment.
