About the Role

We are seeking an Expert Software Engineer - Data Orchestration to join our dynamic team at Feedzai. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead engineering teams in developing cutting-edge solutions for financial risk management. As an integral part of our team, you will work on our innovative RiskOps platform, which is trusted by the world’s largest banks and retailers.

What You'll Do

  • Provide technical leadership and vision for the Data Orchestration product line, combining hands-on development with experimentation and prototyping.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives, ensuring long-term architectural integrity while driving tactical improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Data Science, and other teams to build tools that catch fraud in real-time.
  • Design and implement distributed systems that operate 24/7, ensuring ultra-low latencies and high availability.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in data orchestration and transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Engineering technologies such as Scala, Snowflake, Redshift, and Airflow.
  • Experience with cloud-native SaaS systems and a solid understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams and driving successful product delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in risk management.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and a “you build it, you run it” mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
