Events Sales Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

As an Events Sales Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering memorable moments and five-star service to our guests.

What You'll Do

• Manage all event inquiries, prepare tailored proposals, and proactively convert leads (weddings, social events, private dining) to achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records in Opera, including detailed notes, call logs, daily activity monitoring, and individual booking reports.
• Maximize and monitor banqueting space in line with Group Selling Guidelines to optimize revenue.
• Negotiate with clients, carry out proactive selling based on business levels, and ensure strong knowledge of services, facilities, and competitors.
• Coordinate and conduct site visits and show rounds for corporate and social events, and assist with trade shows and special events.
• Chase and update contracts and initial deposits in a timely manner to secure and confirm bookings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a sales or events coordination role is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in using event management software, preferably Opera.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of local venues and suppliers.
• Fluency in additional languages.
