Events Manager - Remote Role at Polygon Labs

About the Role

We're hiring an Events Manager to join our team at Polygon Labs. This remote Events Manager position is crucial for shaping our global event strategy, particularly focused on fintech, enterprise, and payments audiences. You will be responsible for planning and executing high-impact events that enhance our brand credibility and engage our ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end planning and execution of Polygon Labs’ global event portfolio, including flagship owned events and third-party conferences.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Lead vendor management, including contract oversight and performance management across venues and event services.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Business Development teams to align events with broader brand objectives.
• Partner with executives to plan high-touch engagements, including speaking opportunities and institutional events.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, ensuring clear communication and accountability across stakeholders.
• Measure event effectiveness through post-event reporting and insights to continuously improve future programs.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in event management or field marketing, specifically with large-scale global events.
• Proven experience in planning events for enterprise, fintech, or payments audiences.
• Strong budget management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience working closely with senior leaders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, global environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in web3 or blockchain environments.
• Familiarity with global conference ecosystems and executive-level event formats.
• Experience supporting go-to-market strategies in high-growth organizations.
