About the Role

We're hiring an Events Manager to join our team at Polygon Labs, a leading blockchain payments company. This remote Events Manager role is crucial in shaping our global event strategy, particularly targeting fintech, enterprise, and payments audiences. You will be responsible for planning and executing high-impact events that enhance brand credibility and foster ecosystem engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of Polygon Labs' global event portfolio, including flagship events and third-party conferences.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of events.
  • Lead vendor management, including contract negotiations and performance oversight.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Business Development teams to align events with broader brand objectives.
  • Partner with executives to plan high-touch engagements, including speaking opportunities and private meetings.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure clear communication among stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Measure event effectiveness through reporting and insights to improve future programs.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in event management or field marketing, particularly with large-scale global events.
  • Proven track record in planning and executing events for enterprise, fintech, or payments audiences.
  • Strong ability to manage complex budgets and multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working closely with senior leaders.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in web3 or blockchain environments.
  • Familiarity with global conference ecosystems and executive-level event formats.
  • Experience supporting go-to-market strategies in high-growth organizations.
