Epic Project Manager - Remote Healthcare Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Epic Project Manager - Remote to join our team at e4health. In this role, you will oversee multiple large-scale projects within the healthcare sector, ensuring that project goals are met within the prescribed time-frame and budget. With nearly two decades of experience, e4health serves over 400 hospitals and health systems across the United States, focusing on enhancing clinical, financial, and operational efficiencies.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and coordinate project activities for healthcare systems, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Communicate with teams and stakeholders to facilitate project success and maintain alignment with project objectives.
  • Evaluate and drive improvements in project performance and workflows, ensuring continuous enhancement of processes.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to optimize project execution and ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
  • Maintain project integrity and cost containment, ensuring that projects remain within budget.
  • Lead interdisciplinary project teams for system deployment, ensuring all team members are engaged and informed.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in clinical information systems, guiding teams in effective implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Project Management experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Healthcare background preferred; PMP/SAFE Agile Certification strongly preferred.
  • Full cycle Epic implementation experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage human and financial resources effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Previous consulting experience highly desired.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with healthcare information systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in healthcare.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
