What You'll Do

• Lead the Platform and Data Engineering teams to develop and scale high-throughput distributed systems.
• Oversee technical and platform strategies that empower all teams at Alchemy to deliver exceptional products and services.
• Stay updated on the latest technological advancements to drive Alchemy's competitive edge.
• Enhance team execution, mentor engineers, and refine processes as the team grows.
• Provide technical mentorship to maintain high-quality standards across projects.
• Foster team growth by actively recruiting and hiring top-tier engineers.
• Influence Alchemy's engineering culture through leadership, mentorship, and continuous learning initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience, particularly in distributed systems.
• 2+ years in engineering management with a proven track record in leading backend teams.
• Expertise in engineering and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with Java, Kubernetes, AWS, and multi-cloud environments is strongly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for creating innovative solutions for the blockchain ecosystem.
