Duty Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at The Address Collective. This is a unique opportunity for a Duty Manager to work remotely while ensuring the efficient operation of our hotel and all departments on a daily basis. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of customer service and leading our team effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager regarding the day-to-day running of the hotel.
• Provide support and supervision to various departments including Food & Beverage, reception, and accommodation.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Conduct handovers with the previous shift manager and ensure all necessary information is communicated.
• Monitor staffing levels in accordance with budgets and service standards.
• Assist in weekly stock counts for various departments as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including routine fire walks and security checks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Duty Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and HACCP standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with hotel management software.
• Additional certifications in hospitality management.
