About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Duty Manager to join our team at Lane7, the fastest-growing boutique bowling business in the UK. This Duty Manager remote position offers the opportunity to be part of an exciting new venue opening in Edinburgh, Scotland. You will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience while leading a dynamic team.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the guest journey from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, cocktail preparation, and table maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food management policies.
• Respond to guest complaints and escalate issues to the General Manager when necessary.
• Collaborate with the management team to address maintenance issues promptly.
• Lead shifts effectively, ensuring all team members are well-prepared and informed.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of food and beverage offerings to guide team members.
• Foster a positive and energetic atmosphere that reflects the Lane7 brand.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in the hospitality or leisure sector.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a creative and can-do attitude.
• Flexible availability for shifts and ability to commute to the venue.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
