About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Regulatory Affairs & Quality to join our team at ACHC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while leading regulatory initiatives that impact the health of our communities. As a Director of Regulatory Affairs & Quality remote position, you will function as a vital link between various departments, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and our Quality Management System (QMS).

What You'll Do

  • Advise executive leadership on compliance risks and regulatory trends, providing clear interpretations of requirements.
  • Oversee the integrity of ACHC Standards, ensuring updates for regulatory compliance and consistency across programs.
  • Maintain cross-divisional documents and policies to enhance operational efficiency and build stakeholder trust.
  • Collaborate with regulatory authorities and serve as a subject matter expert on accreditation standards.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with regulatory requirements and manage relationships with CMS.
  • Direct quality initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance, including internal audits and performance metrics.
  • Promote a culture of data-informed decision-making by defining key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Model collaborative problem-solving and encourage open communication within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accreditation standards and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
  • Experience managing a quality management system and internal auditing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with risk management and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and conferences.
