Junior QA Analyst - Remote Position at Varicent

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior QA Analyst to join our team at Varicent. This remote QA Analyst position offers you the chance to work with a leading SaaS company that is redefining sales performance management. As a Junior QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Incentive product, contributing to our mission of helping organizations achieve revenue success.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough testing of new features, logging defects, and validating defect fixes.
• Perform all aspects of verification, including functional testing and regression testing.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to understand business requirements and ensure excellent quality.
• Act as the voice of quality, raising issues and highlighting risks as necessary.
• Deliver timely estimates of testing tasks and scope work to ensure a great customer experience.

Requirements

• 3 months to 1 year of software testing experience or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Experience writing test cases and understanding relational databases (SQL) and web service technologies (REST).
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar).
• CEFR B2 level English proficiency or higher is required.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with exploratory testing techniques.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.
