Director of Marketing Analytics - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Marketing Analytics to join our innovative team at Remote. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead our marketing analytics efforts and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. As a Director of Marketing Analytics remote position, you will play a crucial role in shaping our marketing strategies and enhancing our understanding of customer behavior.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of frameworks that define how we measure success in marketing analytics.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights that optimize marketing spend and improve customer acquisition.
- Oversee the creation of sophisticated multi-touch attribution (MTA) models and Media Mix Modelling (MMM) to evaluate channel effectiveness.
- Develop predictive models that enhance forecast accuracy and drive long-term retention.
- Manage a team of analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a single source of truth for marketing data.
- Champion a test & learn culture by designing A/B testing and multivariate experiments.
- Build and maintain automated executive-level dashboards for real-time KPI visibility.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in SQL and Python/R for data manipulation.
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Deep experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM data (Salesforce/HubSpot).
- Strong grasp of statistical concepts like significance testing, regression analysis, and experimental design.
- Exceptional communication skills to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing analysts and data scientists.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS or B2B marketing analytics.
- Knowledge of the MarTech Ecosystem and its impact on tracking and targeting.
- Familiarity with Bayesian methods for marketing mix modeling.
