Assistant Vice President, Digital Marketing - Remote Position
About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President, Digital Marketing to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in shaping the digital marketing strategy for a leading consumer and hospitality business, known for its innovative approach to customer engagement and brand performance. As the Assistant Vice President, Digital Marketing, you will own the end-to-end digital strategy across all channels, ensuring a seamless connection between web, app, CRM, and performance metrics.
What You'll Do
- Own and deliver the digital marketing strategy across web, app, email, SMS, SEO, and paid channels.
- Drive performance across key KPIs including traffic, conversion, engagement, and customer growth.
- Develop a connected digital ecosystem across CRM, CDP, and broader martech infrastructure.
- Partner with analytics teams to translate data into actionable insights and optimization strategies.
- Lead customer acquisition and lifecycle marketing initiatives to improve retention and lifetime value (LTV).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, technology, and customer experience teams.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring strong delivery and ROI.
- Oversee data governance, privacy, and compliance across all digital platforms.
- Own digital marketing budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital marketing team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing or eCommerce leadership roles.
- Strong experience across multi-channel digital strategy including CRM, SEO, paid, and lifecycle marketing.
- Proven track record of driving measurable growth across acquisition, engagement, and revenue.
- Deep understanding of marketing technology ecosystems including CRM/CDP and integrations.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, technology, and analytics teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business decisions.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong leadership and team development experience.
