About the Role
We are excited to offer a DevOps Intern - Remote position at Branch International, a leading AI-based lending fintech with over 50 million downloads across India and Africa. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a mission-driven environment, working closely with senior engineers and contributing to impactful projects.
What You'll Do
- Automate infrastructure and improve deployment pipelines as a DevOps Intern - Remote.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance our development processes.
- Utilize containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes to manage applications effectively.
- Support cloud operations across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Troubleshoot deployment and performance issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with developers and data engineers to optimize workflows.
- Gain valuable insights into Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks and monitoring tools.
- Participate in a 4-6 month program with the potential for a full-time offer based on performance.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration is essential.
- Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools is advantageous.
- A collaborative, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
