Data Science Support Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Science Support Engineer to join our team at Telespazio, a leader in Space Operations Service & Engineering activities. What You'll Do

• Plan and schedule evaluations and ad-hoc projects related to space economy.
• Conduct qualitative analyses using interviews, surveys, and focus groups.
• Maintain and develop Digital Twin and data models using SQL and IT tools.
• Prepare, clean, and validate data from various sources including SQL Server and APIs.
• Analyze data to discover patterns and generate insights using tools like Power BI.
• Create applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Deliver advanced analytics from structured and unstructured data sources using AI and ML models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support team activities, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data integration.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and Scikit-learn.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of the European Space Agency's operations.
• Previous experience in a hybrid work environment.
