Damp and Mould Manager - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Damp and Mould Manager - Remote to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations for housing and corporate properties. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for residents across Babergh and Mid Suffolk Districts.

What You'll Do

• Produce compliance reports to ensure adherence to statutory obligations.
• Manage contractors and oversee budgets for Damp and Mould repairs.
• Utilize your project management skills to deliver customer-centric services.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Support the Building Safety and Compliance team in fostering a positive working environment.

Requirements

• Level 4 in Managing Housing Maintenance or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in surveying and contract management.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in managing budgets and contractors effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in local government or public sector roles.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housing.
• Proficiency in compliance reporting tools.
