Business Sales Manager - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Sales Manager - Remote to join our dynamic team at O-I, a leading global producer of glass bottles and jars. With over 120 years of experience, O-I is committed to crafting sustainable and innovative glass packaging for renowned food and beverage brands. As a Business Sales Manager, you will manage all existing and potential customers in the Pacific Northwest territory, focusing on strategic accounts and business acquisition.

What You'll Do

• Manage existing and potential customers in the assigned product category.
• Serve as the primary contact between the company and its customers.
• Develop and execute business strategies according to account plans.
• Maintain contact with customers to grow assigned sales categories.
• Analyze sales forecasts and existing accounts for improvement opportunities.
• Design strategies to accelerate inventory movement.
• Negotiate prices and contracts with customers.
• Communicate customer information effectively with internal teams.
• Travel 25-50% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 1-5 years of industry or comparable experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills, particularly with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
• Ability to monitor competition and provide insights.
• Experience in achieving sales volumes as per company budget.
• Ability to develop presentations to resolve customer issues.
