Cybersecurity Analyst - Relocation Support Available

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Analyst to join Northrop Grumman's Classified Solutions team in Linthicum, MD. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on revolutionary systems that impact lives around the world. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. This is a full-time on-site position, and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

What You'll Do

  • Perform assessments of systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations and policies.
  • Establish strict program control processes to mitigate risks and support certification and accreditation of systems.
  • Assist in implementing government policies and recommend process improvements.
  • Conduct formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by government accrediting authorities.
  • Document results of Certification and Accreditation activities and prepare system Security Plans.
  • Coordinate Assessment and Authorization activities, including all RMF Body of Evidence documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with current cybersecurity policies and measures when developing new systems.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of system functions, security policies, and technical safeguards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience; a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Current DoD 8570 IAM level II (or higher) security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
  • Active DoD Top Secret level security clearance required.
  • 3+ years of experience with Assessment & Accreditation (A&A) of classified systems under Risk Management Frameworks (RMF).
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-37 and associated NIST SP 800-53 control families.
  • Experience with audit reduction tools (e.g., Splunk Enterprise).
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus Scanner).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DISA STIGS and SCAP Compliance Checker.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
