Cryptocurrency Trader - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cryptocurrency Trader to join our team at Verdigris Holding. This remote position offers the opportunity to manage client portfolios and engage in trading activities within the dynamic cryptocurrency market. As a Cryptocurrency Trader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring best execution and fair allocation while adhering to defined risk limits.

What You'll Do

• Trade managed client portfolios in line with each Investment Policy Statement (IPS) and defined risk limits.
• Oversee custody and transfers using multi-signature (multi-sig) and multi-party computation (MPC) with documented approvals and two-person controls.
• Reconcile daily balances across custodians and exchanges, preparing daily profit and loss (P&L) statements and monthly client statements.
• Monitor exposure, liquidity, and concentration, rebalancing portfolios and utilizing permitted hedges as necessary.
• Maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and trade records while supporting audits and regulatory reviews as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of discretionary trading or portfolio management experience with client assets, specifically in cryptocurrency, foreign exchange (FX), or commodities.
• Experience in institutional custody operations, including multi-sig/MPC, whitelisting, and withdrawal policies.
• Strong risk management skills and recordkeeping practices, including trade sizing, limits, best-execution, and trade-allocation standards.
• Working knowledge of U.S. digital asset regulations and KYC/AML practices; must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and portfolio accounting/reconciliation systems; basic knowledge of Python or SQL for reporting is a plus.
