About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Consumer Collection Specialist - Remote to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do
- Manage consumer accounts and collections processes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding debts.
- Utilize analytical skills to assess account statuses and develop strategies for collections.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service and improve collection rates.
- Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in our systems.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in collections or customer service, preferably in healthcare finance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience with accounts receivable management.
- Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical billing.
- Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes.
