About the Role

We're hiring a Collections Specialist to join our team at Tide. This remote role offers a unique opportunity to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in managing their collections effectively. As a Collections Specialist, you will be instrumental in helping our members navigate their financial challenges, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.

What You'll Do

• Provide essential support to our members in managing arrears in line with the Collections Policies.
• Develop successful repayment plans tailored to our members' needs.
• Update corresponding logs and reports diligently, documenting actions and decisions.
• Engage with customers to understand their challenges and provide effective solutions.
• Handle a range of queries and requests quickly and effectively, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
• Ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and reasoning skills.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a collections or financial services environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems or collections software.
• Additional languages are a plus.
