Cloud Security Engineer - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Infosys in Czechia. This Cloud Security Engineer remote position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the security of our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with development teams to design and automate infrastructure deployment while ensuring compliance with security standards.

What You'll Do

• Cooperate with the development team to understand requirements and propose infrastructure architecture.
• Design and automate infrastructure deployment through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Implement and maintain security tools, processes, and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our applications and infrastructure.
• Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on secure coding practices, threat modeling, and risk management.
• Follow changes to security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Participate in cross-regional best practices guilds and knowledge exchange.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience in implementing and managing monitoring, alerting tools, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with Azure and its related services (AppService, AKS, AKV, Private Networking).
• Experience with application containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, GitOps).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Proficiency in Czech & English at a business level.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD for applications and infrastructure (Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, GitHub).
• Certifications in cloud security or related fields.
