About the Role
General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a talented Cloud ETL Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time Cloud ETL Engineer remote position where you will have the opportunity to work from anywhere in the United States. As a Cloud ETL Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that support our cloud-based data solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into cloud data warehouses.
- Collaborate with data architects and data analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability in a cloud environment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely data delivery.
- Document ETL processes and maintain technical specifications.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud ETL Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in ETL tools and technologies, such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or AWS Glue.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
