Cloud DevOps Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We're hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team at ArcheSys. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your expertise in cloud technologies while working with public sector clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of cloud infrastructure using AWS platforms.
• Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Contribute to the automation of deployment processes to improve efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless integration of applications and services.
• Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and proactively identify issues.
• Document procedures, configurations, and specifications for knowledge sharing.
• Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging technologies in the cloud and DevOps space.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in government consulting.
• Certification in at least one cloud platform such as AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Nice to Have

• Additional certifications in DevOps or SRE practices (e.g., Docker Certified Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
• Experience in management consulting or client-facing roles.
