Cloud Data Architect - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Data Architect to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing enterprise data solutions that address complex business challenges. This position offers the opportunity to work with a Fortune 500 solutions integrator recognized for its innovative approach to cloud, data, AI, and cybersecurity.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop enterprise data solutions in a dynamic environment.
• Lead client discussions and recommend technical strategies to meet their needs.
• Develop cloud-based solutions to tackle complex data challenges.
• Collaborate with team members to promote best practices and enhance project outcomes.
• Continuously develop your skills to stay current with emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with cloud technologies and data analytics, including Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Data Services.
• 10+ years of experience designing and provisioning Azure resources for Big Data projects.
• 10+ years of experience with AWS cloud/data analytics tools such as S3, AWS Glue, and Redshift.
• Proficiency with Databricks, including Unity Catalog and Delta Lake.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning, predictive and prescriptive analytics using R and Python.
• Development skills with CI/CD methodologies using PowerShell and Terraform.
• Familiarity with visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
