Celonis Data Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Celonis Data Engineer to support enterprise process mining initiatives using Celonis. This fully remote position requires strong data analysis skills and experience with Celonis, which is essential for understanding how processes operate and identifying inefficiencies. As a Celonis Data Engineer, you will work closely with delivery teams and business stakeholders to onboard data from multiple systems, configure Celonis models, analyze process performance, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines feeding Celonis.
• Ingest data from multiple enterprise systems using native Celonis connectors and direct database integrations.
• Support data preparation, transformation, and modeling for process mining use cases.
• Configure Celonis data models, process models, and supporting components.
• Perform end-to-end data analysis, including reading and understanding complex datasets.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in data.
• Translate process data into clear insights and visual narratives.
• Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong background in data engineering and/or data analysis.
• Proven experience with SQL, data modeling, and data validation.
• Ability to pull and integrate data from multiple, disparate sources.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to explain complex data.
• Ability to learn Celonis quickly and apply it to real delivery work.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with Celonis or other process mining tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Qlik.
• Experience supporting process improvement or operational analytics initiatives.
