C2 Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity at Anduril Industries

About the Role

Anduril Industries is seeking a talented C2 Software Engineer to join our innovative team. As a C2 Software Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in architecting and building ground control automation software that enhances military capabilities. This position allows you to work on cutting-edge technology that transforms how military systems are designed and operated.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, test, and deploy real-time moving-map user interfaces for commanding missions and teams of autonomous systems.
• Define and implement APIs and services for datalink network communications, situational awareness, telemetry, robotics control, and sensor data.
• Regularly develop with modern full stack technologies for one or more C2 platforms, including Cloud technologies like Python, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Engage in embedded software development using Python, C++, Rust, and Embedded Linux.
• Test and evaluate your software using high-fidelity simulations, benchtop hardware, and live flight exercises.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in one or more skills of at least one of the C2 platforms: Cloud, Mobile, or Embedded.
• Willingness to provide on-call support to various internal or external customers.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice to Have

• Experience with 3D geospatial analysis and mapping software such as ArcGIS, Cesium, or MapBox.
• Familiarity with client/server networking technologies like TCP/UDP/Multicast, HTTP (REST), or protobuf/gRPC.
• Experience with robotic systems and the integration of software with physical hardware.
• Experience in a startup or small company environment with tight deadlines and open-ended requirements.
