District Manager - Remote Opportunity with Relocation Support
About the Role
We are seeking a District Manager - Remote to oversee operations and ensure compliance across multiple stores within your assigned district. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage store performance, profitability, and customer experience objectives while working remotely. You will report directly to the Managing Director of Operations and play a crucial role in driving the success of our stores.
What You'll Do
- Achieve company objectives for district sales and profit performance through regular store visits and effective leadership.
- Assist Store Managers in developing and monitoring budgets to ensure financial success.
- Provide hands-on training and coaching to store managers, ensuring they are equipped to meet performance standards.
- Manage payroll, productivity, and staffing within the district according to established performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and execution of all people-related initiatives.
- Participate in the Complaint Review process as the immediate supervisor of assigned managers.
- Oversee fiscal reporting procedures, including accounts receivable and inventory reports.
- Conduct quarterly safety inspections to ensure compliance with Federal/State employment law and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in a retail environment.
- 3+ years of experience supervising management-level team members.
- Experience leading in a multi-unit work environment preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and vendors.
Nice to Have
- Experience in revenue generation and analyzing income statements.
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships with HR, Recruiting, Security, Finance, and Technology.
- Familiarity with quality management concepts and practices.
