Blockchain Intelligence Analyst - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Blockchain Intelligence Analyst to join our team at TRM Labs. This remote position is pivotal in our mission to build a safer world through blockchain intelligence. As a Blockchain Intelligence Analyst, you will drive TRM’s collection, analysis, and reporting on key areas of the crypto economy, ensuring that we have best-in-class intelligence.

What You'll Do

• Track, analyze, and report on key areas of the crypto economy to detect suspicious activities.
• Utilize your OSINT skills to uncover hidden threats and improve our security posture.
• Provide key insights that contribute to real-world action against threat actors.
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams to enhance the TRM product.
• Create intelligence reports that help law enforcement, internal teams, and clients stay ahead of cyber risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in intelligence-related positions, ideally in Blockchain Intelligence.
• OSINT Expertise - Proficiency in using open-source tools for intelligence gathering.
• Strong analytical skills to synthesize and report complex information clearly.
• Experience in Blockchain Analysis, focusing on tracing transactions and identifying malicious activity.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ownership of your work, applying the 80/20 principle to achieve objectives.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., GIAC, CEH) and experience in cybersecurity or intelligence gathering.
• Ability to research in another language (please specify in your application).

• Experience with advanced data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the crypto space.
• Background in law enforcement or financial crime investigations.
