Business Analyst/​Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst/Developer to join our dynamic team at EFG International. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our IT and Digital department. As a Business Analyst/Developer, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions and providing support for our Investment Client Solution (ICS) business.

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day support for various application systems, ensuring seamless operations.
• Document new system enhancements and implement changes effectively.
• Conduct training sessions for users to ensure they are well-equipped to utilize the systems.
• Liaise with existing users, technical analysts, and application vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Configure, roll out, and provide application support for Charles River / Aladdin and related applications.
• Define and test required solutions to enhance existing features and functionalities.
• Conduct gap analysis and document detailed process flows, test plans, and execution reports.
• Escalate issues promptly and manage work according to agreed priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a numerate subject (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Mathematics).
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft SQL, Excel Macros, and Visual Basic.
• Knowledge of Charles River and/or BlackRock Aladdin is preferred.
• Effective interpersonal skills for negotiation and influencing.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French, German, or Italian is beneficial.
• Previous experience in the financial industry is preferred.

• Certifications in business analysis or project management.
