About the Role

We are seeking a Benefits Manager remote to join our team at Veracity Software Inc. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and administering our benefits programs while ensuring compliance with IRS and ERISA regulations. What You'll Do

  • Design and develop "best practices" benefit programs to attract and retain high-performing talent while managing costs and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Compensation and HRIS Manager to execute a cohesive Total Rewards program aligned with business strategies.
  • Lead and manage a team of Benefits staff, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Maintain relationships with external consultants and service partners to enhance benefits administration.
  • Ensure all company-sponsored plans comply with relevant legal requirements, including HIPAA, COBRA, and ERISA reporting.
  • Evaluate and implement processes to maintain efficiency in benefit delivery.
  • Act as the primary resource for the Human Resource Service Center for escalated issues and process improvements.
  • Develop metrics to measure the ROI of benefit programs and ensure effective communication of benefits information.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in managing benefits operations and implementing benefit programs.
  • Experience in healthcare benefits management and compliance with health and welfare plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification in HR-related areas such as CBP or CEBS is preferred.
  • Proven management skills and ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

Nice to Have

  • Wellness plan development and implementation experience.
  • Experience with COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and healthcare reform law.
