Back-End/​Infra Engineer - Kubernetes & Node.js Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Back-End/Infra Engineer remote to join our R&D Infrastructure team at Deel. In this exciting role, you will design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure services using Node.js and Kubernetes. As a key player in our team, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Deel’s global platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure services using Node.js and Kubernetes.
• Work on infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, and container orchestration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and platforms that support Deel’s growing global operations.
• Participate in architecture discussions and drive best practices for infrastructure development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Back-End/Infra Engineer remote.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
