What You'll Do

• Develop real-time diagnostics on liquid metal jetting droplet-on-demand additive manufacturing platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to create automated systems that improve throughput and performance.
• Evaluate jetting performance of different configurations through hands-on experimentation.
• Automate data analysis processes using programming environments such as Matlab or Python.
• Communicate findings effectively to team members and contribute to program objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance.
• Experience in a hands-on experimental environment with laboratory instrumentation.
• Knowledge of engineering software tools (e.g., PSPICE, Altium) and scientific computing languages (Python, MATLAB, C/C++).
• Strong communication skills for collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team.

Nice to Have

• Experience in developing real-time diagnostics for additive manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with FPGA and microcontroller programming.
• Experience in 3D CAD design software like SolidWorks.
