What You'll Do
- Develop real-time diagnostics on liquid metal jetting droplet-on-demand additive manufacturing platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to create automated systems that improve throughput and performance.
- Evaluate jetting performance of different configurations through hands-on experimentation.
- Automate data analysis processes using programming environments such as Matlab or Python.
- Communicate findings effectively to team members and contribute to program objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
- Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance.
- Experience in a hands-on experimental environment with laboratory instrumentation.
- Knowledge of engineering software tools (e.g., PSPICE, Altium) and scientific computing languages (Python, MATLAB, C/C++).
- Strong communication skills for collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team.
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing real-time diagnostics for additive manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with FPGA and microcontroller programming.
- Experience in 3D CAD design software like SolidWorks.
